A Wonderful Summer

The gardens did really well this year. Could of done without the weeds though.  I picked a lot of Green Beans, Black Eyed Peas Cucumbers, Zucchini and mints.  I also have a lot of Pumpkins this year and some Cantaloupes.
I bought some Peaches and Corn at the Farmers Market so we have a nice supply of food put up for the winter.
Some of my garden plants did not do well so will not plant next year.  No Corn, Lima Beans or Watermelons. I hope to get better tomatoes next year.

The Fowl have been enjoying all the cool weather we have been having along with the rain. Everything is green and they have been running everywhere eating the grass and bugs.  The rabbits that were out running have been caught and are in the rabbit barn or have gone to freezer camp.

We had a visitor last week. A Tom turkey. We thought it was a wild one at first , but he did not run from you. When he started hanging around all our birds we knew he was someones pet.  Found the neighbor and he went home.

The flowers here have been really pretty this summer. From the Easter Lily that was planted last year to the Comfrey for the rabbits.  Everything has really been putting on a show.
