Vegtable Gardens doing well !

The Gardens are coming along nicely.  Getting some big onions, potatoes are looking great ,and the broccoli has over achieved this year.  We have gotten a lot so far. The peas, green beans, corn and well, everything else has come up and is growing really good.
I have been out working on the weeds, but they are a lot better than last year . I just hope we don't get the grasshoppers like last year.

The baby bunny's have really grown. They are getting less afraid of you when you walk into the barn . When it is feeding time they start following you around just in case you drop some rabbit food or greens on the floor.  You can see what they do when they get their food,  dog pile, or rabbit pile as the case may be.

When one mower is down , you mow with the other one.  Well, my mower did have a broken belt , but this area had been fenced off and had some much taller weeds in it. So the bigger one was needed for the job.  It is sure nice not having to walk through all those tall weeds anymore. You know , I am scared of snakes!

Until next week,

This weeks sunsets and a few storm clouds.

BamBam Holsters has sure been making some nice holsters and phone carriers. You gotta love the ones with the snake inlays.  Yes it was a real Rattlesnake that my dad killed a few years ago. Check out the link above for more info.

Run, Jump, Kick Baby Bunny!

The baby bunny's are now big enough that they were put on the floor. When you first put them down they run , jump in the air and just have tons of fun.  After the first day or so they start looking for the hiding spots. Usually the first place they all go is behind Pablo's cage, which is the picture at the bottom of the rabbit part.  I think there is 6 in that little cubby-hole behind his cage.

Now that all the baby's are on the floor, the momma rabbits are all outside.  There was some fighting going to see who is will be top rabbit out there.  I even found a large piece of white fur on the ground, not sure who that belonged too. I looked for Hershey and picked her up. She looked fine but really scared. They will all get use to being outside soon and will be friends soon.

The Wyandotte chickens and the ducks have been the lucky ones to free range as they know where home is. They have been running a good part of the ranch , which is really good.
The RIR's have not figured out they are suppose to go to the back yet where they are let out. The one time we let them out after they were moved, it was terrible trying to get them all back in. Even after dark we were finding a few that did not make it in.

The flowers are starting to bloom and get really pretty.   The Iris below is one I bought last year and it is so such a dark purple it looks black.
I just cant wait for all the seeds to come up this year and see all the flowers that bloom.

These are 2 Natchez Crepe Myrtles trees that our son gave me for Mothers Day. I love them so much!
